The best part of this job is getting to be a part of a growing family and their story. This may be my 4th time capturing the Hickey cousins (although it may be more/less). I know Michael & Megan well because I'm friends with their mom Corrin. But now their cousins know me well too because I've photographed them so many times. It was so cute and warming to see Alex & Sofia came right up to me, without fear of my camera.
The last time I captured the four cousins was under
sad circumstances. This time is not so much better. They will be moving soon to Argentina and their family here will miss them so much. It's in moments like these when we are reminded of the importance of photographs.
