Hi! Welcome to my little home on the web. Thanks for visiting and taking a peek at my blog. I have always been the family historian, since I was a young girl. I was the one to take a million photos at every event and then scrapbook them (before "scrapbooking" existed). While traveling in Barcelona, Spain a friend of mine loaned me his fancy schmancy camera to shoot with. And it was love at first click! I decided in a shoe shop in Barcelona that I wanted to be a photographer. And here I am.
Denise contacted me about my photography for her wedding after seeing my work for another client. We communicated over email and she booked her wedding without ever meeting. The ultimate compliment! I just so happened to be 2nd shooting a wedding for a friend of mine a couple of weeks ago when a woman came up to me at the reception asking if I was Charla. It just so happens it was Denise! It was so fun to meet her & her fiance before their big day. And such a crazy coincidence!
Denise & Jeff had a beautiful wedding. The backdrop of their wedding ceremony was the Long Beach Lighthouse. They hosted their reception in their backyard with so many cute & creative details. After capturing a few backyard weddings this year, I'm a fan! Denise is an amazing photographer as well and did not let a detail go undone.
