I just had to post a few more images of Laurel & Cody that revealed a bit more of their personality! These guys were so at ease in front of the camera...playing, laughing, being silly, and looking completely in LOVE! At the end of our session, Cody said "that was so much fun!" That's pretty much music to a photographer's ears, especially coming from a guy. I agree...it was so much fun! Their wedding sounds like it's going be a blast. Can't wait...

{Laurel + Cody} Balboa Park, San Diego Engagement Photographer
I was so excited to meet Laurel & Cody Thursday night because they booked me for their July wedding at the San Diego Zoo, but we have yet to meet. Lucky for me, they booked me on a referral basis and I could only hope they were cool peeps. Well, they did not disappoint! Honestly, we had so much fun talking and getting to one another...I often have to remimd myself that I'm working. I have the best job ever!!!
Balboa Park is super reminiscent of Southern Spain to me. I loved being here and talking to Laurel about her adventures in Europe too. What an amazing gift, the gift of travel and adventure.

{CB in Action} San Juan Capistrano Engagement Session
I recently posted a fun engagement session that I shot last month in SJC with my buddy Danny. Well, he also shot some video clips of me in action with his fancy schmancy Canon 7D. And was also kind enough to throw it together in a little video clip for all to see. Thanks Danny!
Notice my new ShootSac too? Please forgive me for being such a dork and being so matchy-matchy. This is the first time I've used my Shootsac. I've been shooting for so long without it, it may just take a little getting use to. I LOVE the way it looks though. And isn't that what's most important? J/K!

{Julie + Kris} Southern California Engagement Photographer
This weekend I met Julie & Khris for the first time in Beverly Hills at Franklin Canyon Park. The day could not have been more perfect, blue skies and 80 degrees (Yes, in January!). These two researched and found the perfect location for their engagement photos. This park could not have been more beautiful with all of the fall colors and gorgeous winter lighting. I was in photog heaven! They were complete naturals in front of the camera, despite what they told me. I had so much fun and can hardly wait for their July 4th wedding at the Summit House in Fullerton. Congrats!

{Captured} Brian + Michelle Engaged
Meet Brian & Michelle. Michelle is a good friend and neighbor to my dear friend Jill. I've know Michelle for several years and I couldn't be happier for her upcoming nuptials. Jill is going to be one of her bridesmaids so I know this wedding is going to be one big celebration and I'm stoaked to be a part of it. They will be tying the know next month in Laguna Beach at Tivoli Terrace. I met up with Brian and Michelle on the Newport Peninsula Saturday night for their engagement session. I love it when men rise to the occasion of photo sessions. Brian was cracking me up all night with his funny faces, great attitude, and his ideas for poses. Thanks for being such a trooper! Here's a sneak peak of our time together...

{Captured} Max + Sybil - part two
Just a few more shots of Max & Sybil from their Friday night engagement session in Old Orange. Love this place. The location. The lighting. The couple. I'm so excited for their October wedding at The Hacienda! I'm so glad I got a chance to hang out with you both before your wedding day.

{Captured} Max + Sybil Engaged
Here is just a quick sneak peak for what's in store from Max and Sybil's engagement session from Friday night. I had so much fun with this couple in Old Town Orange and can't wait to get some more posted soon. Unfortunately I spent all weekend shooting and not much time behind the computer. So more to follow soon...

{Engaged} Jen + Dan
Last night I met up with Jen & Dan in downtown Long Beach to capture their engagement session! I can't tell you how I excited I am to shoot their wedding this month too. First, they are a super fun and silly couple (and I mean that in the most affectionate way possible). And, second, they are marrying at the same venue, The Ebell Club, that I got married two years ago. It will be so fun to revisit the venue and to see their personality and touches to the place. After spending some time with them last night, I have a feeling that their wedding will be nothing short of fun, fun, fun. Thanks guys for making me laugh and for being so sweet when I made a complete fool of myself by falling during our session. I have a nice little bruise and bump in rememberance.
Don't you just love Jen's dress? It's adorable and so perfect on her.
