{Hickey Cousins} Long Beach, CA Family Photographer

I've lost track of how many times I've had the privilege of capturing these cutie cousins. It is one of the best parts of my job...to see families and kids growing over the years. I truly feel like I get to play a special part of their family. The cousins stay here is coming to an end, and back to Argentina they go. I'm so glad I got to see them while they were visiting and hear their awesome accents and Spanish (so fun coming from a little blonde toe head). Happy Birthday Grandma and I hope you enjoyed the images of your beautiful grandchildren.

 

 

 

 

{Hickey Family} Heartwell Park

The best part of this job is getting to be a part of a growing family and their story. This may be my 4th time capturing the Hickey cousins (although it may be more/less). I know Michael & Megan well because I'm friends with their mom Corrin. But now their cousins know me well too because I've photographed them so many times. It was so cute and warming to see Alex & Sofia came right up to me, without fear of my camera.

The last time I captured the four cousins was under sad circumstances. This time is not so much better. They will be moving soon to Argentina and their family here will miss them so much. It's in moments like these when we are reminded of the importance of photographs.

{Captured} Cousins

So today I met up with four cousins under six! I mention that because they are a hard act to capture. Michael & Megan belong to my good friend Corrin and the other two are her niece & nephew. Sadly their mom and Corrin's sister passed away four months ago. I imagine this Mothers Day will be difficult for all but I hope these images bring peace and healing. Especially the legacy she has left with these two sweet little ones, Sofia and Alex. I am so honored I got to capture these little kiddies again. My heart and prayers are with them on their first Mothers day without their mommy.

 

 

 

 

BTW, Corrin is an awesome assistant. In a picture perfect moment with all four of the cousins together, my card was full. She occupied and entertained them by singing the ABC's. Thanks! Here's the slideshow (bigger HERE)...
