    {Erin + Clay} Part III

    I love pics of kiddos at weddings...

    How cool is this kid? I was just a little bit intimated by his coolness...

    Sunsets in the dessert are gorgeous.

    A few highlights from the bride & grooms first dance. I love this moment between a bride & groom. A private moment for them to celebrate and relish in their new found happiness.

    {Tori + Adrien} Los Angeles Wedding Photographer

    So I had to post a few more images of Tori & Adrien's wedding that I shot last weekend with Leila Jones. Thanks to her and Danny Mendoza's encouragement and influence, I am now a user of Lightroom. (I have to admit that I have had this software since March, thanks to winning a FTP shoot out) I honestly have been resistant to changing my workflow because I knew my process would be slowed down while I learned to use it. But I had to give it a shot since there is so much hype out there from the photography community.

    These images are a product of my so far limited skills. I'm liking some of the fun presets I bought from Presetopia but will hopefully be able to tweak my editing skills and find a style that's my own. That just might take a little time (something I have very little of, lately). You'll be seeing the changes right here on my blog.

    The sky was a gorgeous blue, but I gave it a little boost too...

    I love photos of brides, radiating in one of the happiest days...

    The sun was beaming through the trees in this next two shots. Gorgous lighting + bride = happy photographer!

    {Tori + Adrien} Santa Monica, CA Wedding Photographer

    I got the pleasure of shooting along side Leila Jones again this weekend. It's so fun being a second shooter, because the pressure is off you and you get a chance to capture shots from a different perspective. It's also really awesome getting to see another photographer in working action. Leila does bridal sessions with 90% of her couples, usually the night before their actual wedding. It's a great concept and ultimately the couple walks away with a bunch of kick A images for themselves. It's also super laid back and less stressful than the actual wedding day, for obvious reasons. Thanks again Leila for the invitation and your friendship. Isn't this couple just adorable? They like to kiss...

    {Slideshow} Max + Sybil

    I love making slideshows to to tell the story of my client's wedding day. But I especially like it when my husband helps me make them. I smell a future business partner! Here's a recap of Max & Sybil's day...

    Sybil + Max {say I do}

    Last Friday, Sybil & Max tied the knot at the Spanish style venue The Hacienda in Santa Ana. It was yet another fabulous venue by Tivoli, which is where I shot last month. These guys are so laid back and really know how to have a good time. It was so much fun to be a part of your day and I hope you had a fabulous time in Hawaii! How could you not? Thanks again for inviting me to capture your wedding. Just a few sneak peaks...

    Brian + Michelle {say I do}

    I can't believe I'm going to post a few sneak peaks from LAST NIGHT'S wedding! This might be my fastest post ever (especially since it was near midnight when I got home last night). I just have to share a few fun detail shots from Brian & Michelle's awesome wedding at Tivoli Terrace in Laguna Beach. It was such a cool venue and the staff and event coordinator Patrick could not have been nicer. You'll have to come back for more later...cuz the bride was STUNNING! Congrats Brian & Michelle...I could not be happier for the two of you. I'm so excited that we are going to be neighbors soon so I know I'll be seeing lots of you!

    A special thanks to Krisd of KrashingMotions too for second shooting for me!

    Yesterday was a beautiful day for a wedding (although just a tad hot!)...

    The dress could not have been more beautiful...

    Andrea + Will {say I do}

    Last Saturday I got the privelege of being a part of Andrea & Will's wedding day. These two are clearly surrounded by an awesome group of family and friends, which is definitely the recipe for a great marriage. They were such a joy to work with, despite the sweltering heat (108+) and a few little reception mishaps. Thanks again to A Timeless Memory for inviting to shoot with you guys. Congratulations Andrea & Will! May you have a life filled with laughter and love. Here's just a quick sneak peak...

    {i do} janelle + brett - Mr. & Mrs.

    Yes, there is still more! I'm telling you that these are some of my most favorite images ever. I love weddings anyways but to get to capture them too is such a JOY!

    {i do} janelle + brett - the ceremony

    Did I mention how incredibly sweet Janelle & Brett were? And all their friends and family too? Such a fun and laid back bunch! Just a few more fun captures of their ceremony and moments before and after. I always love it when brides throw their bouquet up in the air after they are pronounced man and wife! They almost always do (I did too)!

    {i do} janelle + brett - first look

    Janelle & Brett decided to see each other before their ceremony. For their "first look". Once upon a time, when I was a bride...I wanted to wait to walk down the aisle for my husband to see me for the first time. But now that I'm a wedding photographer, I see both sides. It is such a wonderful intimate moment to see each other before the ceremony. You really don't have the time to greet each other, and discuss how beautiful you each look, and just really enjoy the moment. I absolutely loved being witness to Janelle & Brett's first look. Pure love...
